So, I'm still working on a poetry collection for a hotel in Cancun. I posted this poem from the work last week at my blog, but thought I'd share it here as well.
Playful
The moon plays
hopscotch over the waves,
hide and seek
in the fluttering curtains,
and tags my daughter's cheek
with a glimmering kiss.

This is so visual...and now I would very much like to be at a hotel in Cancun watching the moon hopscotch over the waves!
Beautiful and poignant, Lorie Ann!
